Risk Assessment

An overview of risk assessment and obligations of supervisors and group leaders. Risk Assessment forms must be completed for all new research workers before experimental work begins, and must be reviewed at least yearly, or whenever a significant change in the nature of the research work undertaken occurs.

COSHH

COSHH forms must be prepared in advance of work on any chemical whose use poses a significant risk to health. See the Departmental Safety Officer if you are in any doubt about whether or not a COSHH form is required for a chemical you are contemplating using.
